Drager Alcotest 5000 Breath-Alcohol Screening Device
The Drager Alcotest 5000 is a breath-alcohol tester used by professionals in industries such as law enforcement, transportation and haulage and construction. The main benefit of using this particular type of alcohol detector is its ability to perform up to 12 tests per minute. This is ideal for applications where large-scale operations are needed, checks at work sites, stadiums and entry points in to public transport.
The exchangeable funnel allows the breathalyser to be used numerous times without being changed every time as the backflow of expired air is reduced. This is due to the vents around the bottom of the funnel. There’s also no need for the person to make contact with the funnel and a test can be taken passively or with the subject blowing in to the meter from 2-3cm away.
The display on the Drager Alcotest 5000 is very easy to see and the intuitive menu makes it easy to use. The lastest test results can be seen, as well as the test number, date and the battery life.
