The Drager DrugCheck 3000 drug testing device is a disposable and compact test, designed to find out in minutes if a person has recently consumed certain drugs. This particular version of the test (STK 6) comes in a pack of 20 pieces and is designed to simultaneously check for cocaine (COC), opiates (OPI), cannabis (THC), amphetamines (AMP), methamphetamines (MET) and benzodiazepines (BZO).
The DrugCheck 3000 is a saliva (oral fluid) based test and does not require electricity or battery-operated power to function. This makes it suitable for use in hazardous areas. The test can be operated by absorbing saliva with a coloured indicator stick. This will show the user if enough saliva has been collected. The collector is inserted into the test and the sample and results will start to show on the DrugCheck window.
There are many advantages of using this method of collection. It’s cost-effective, it’s quick and it’s a flexible means of testing. Drager have also developed the DrugCheck 3000 app for smartphones. This can be used in conjunction with the test and it allows you to scan, analyse, log and archive test results. These results can be shown on the app, or they can be emailed.
