The Drager PSS 4000 is a light self-contained breathing apparatus kit, designed for use in robust applications. The kit has been designed with firefighters in mind. This particular version has a single cylinder strap.
The PSS 4000 is made up of a durable carrying harness which has a quick release fastener and an easy-to-use pull forward mechanism. This will allow you to quickly adjust the harness.The carrying frame of the SCBA kit has been designed to fit into the natural contours of the body. This will improve your stability whilst using the kit and should help to reduce back strain, stress and fatigue.
The integrated hose function in the breathing apparatus kit means that the risk of snagging and potential entanglement is reduced. Both the medium pressure air supply and the gauge hoses are integrated into the carrying frame. The hoses can be re-routed, should the user prefer to access the gauge on the other side.
