The BW Real Time (RT) Clip is a disposable single gas detector which is capable of detecting one of four gases.  The gas monitor is available with sensors to detect either oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2).

The ‘real time’ aspect of the BW Clip means that it will continuously display a real-time concentration of your chosen gas in the ambient air.  When the gas exceeds alarm set points then the triple alarm system will be activated.  This consists of a visual alarm, a vibrating alarm and an audible alarm.
The BW Clip is a disposable, 2-year or 3-year monitor, which means after this time period has ended the monitor must be replaced.  However, the manufacturer describes this as being virtually maintenance-free and as easy as switching on the device once ready to monitor gas.  There should be no requirement to replace the sensor or battery or charge the unit.  Once switched on the BW Clip RT will begin its lifetime countdown. Unlike the standard BW Clip, the Real Time version can be calibrated but only when purchased with and configured with an IntelliDoX station.  Otherwise, it comes with this feature disabled as standard.

Warranty

Two years from activation (given normal operation), plus one-year shelf life (6months for O2). Up to three years for two-year H2S and CO detectors when used with the hibernation feature, limited to 24months of detector operation.
