BW Technologies’ latest gas detector is the BW Clip4.  This is a disposable multi-gas detector which detects levels of LEL, oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide.
Once activated, the detector will always be on for its 2-year lifetime.  There’s no need to charge this unit. 
The Clip4 is a robust monitor with a built-in concussion proof boot and is IP68 rated.  It also comes with a flashing red non-compliance indicator.  This will warn users that the multi gas detector has not been bump tested in accordance to its schedule.
There’s no need to replace the sensors, unless an issue arises. Calibration is recommended by the manufacturer every 6 months. This is to ensure that the sensors are always compliant and working, given that they are providing you with real-time readings
