The monitor comes in a user-friendly, compact form and has a wide range of possible configurations which allows it to adapt to meet different international regulations and guidelines.
Safe and Easy to Use
With automatic sampling and calibration processes making the instrument easy to use, all measurement functions are controlled via a single key, while menu navigation is controlled by two menu keys. The mouthpieces for the Alcotest 5510 are designed to be fitted quickly and securely, even when light conditions are poor.
Rapid ready for use
This Alcotest instrument from Drager can be ready for use in no time at all due to the very latest in electronics technology.
Quick and precise analysis
The 1/4“-DrägerSensor with its optimized gas dynamics measures specifically alcohol. Even at high alcohol concentrations direct gas paths, fast pneumatic components and short reaction times of the sensor ensure the measurement result will be displayed quickly.
Low Energy Consumption
The Drager Alcotest 5510 can conduct more than 1500 breath alcohol tests on just two mignon batteries (AA size)
‘Slide’n’click’ mouthpiece
The mouthpiece shape means the user will intuitively fit it correctly and the air outlet cannot be obstructed, preventing any manipulation when the breath sample is given. The 5510’s mouthpiece also features a spacer which prevents the test subject’s lips from coming into contact with the instrument’s housing. This feature can also be used as a mouthpiece ejector. Mouth pieces are individually packaged and can be attached to the instrument easily and hygienically.
Practical Design
The compact and practical design of the Drager Alcototest 5510 means it can fit into a shirt pocket and can be equally used by both right-handed and left-handed people. The separation of the mouthpiece and the grip area automatically ensures a certain distance between the hand of the operator and the mouth of the person to be tested.
Integrated datalogging
The datalogger holds the 10 latest measurement results with their respective numbers, with individual results able to be called up from the log through the menu keys.
